The beautiful Nymphaea Peach Glow is a water lily hybrid cultivar and has been developed in the year 1997 by the American waterlily enthusiast and breeder Dr. Robert Kirk Strawn (1922-2008).

As his wife loved waterlilies, Dr. Strawn discovered his passion for this exotic plants by the 1970 th. He began to buy waterlilies from all over the world und started to cross them. His first hybrid, developed in 1981, has been named by him in honour to his wife, Nymphaea Charlene Strawn. Nymphaea Peach Glow is acrossing from the hybrid Nymphaea Rembrandt and the Nym. species Nymphaea mexicana. The peach-coloured flowers are standing high above the water surface. Flowers last about 4 days and are changing their colour from peach to white as they get elder. The Nymphaea Nymphaea Peach Glow water lily hybrid is hardy, but needs a lot of sun. Flowers get a size of about 12 cm across.
