Bulbophyllum sikkimense (King & Pantl.) J.J. Sm. 1912 (basionym: Cirrhopetalum sikkimense King & Pantl. 1898) is an epiphytic growing miniature orchid species, native to the Indian Himalaya state Sikkim.

Single flowers of Bulbophyllum sikkimense get a length of about 2 cm and are grouped in spectacular umbels of up to about 10-15 flowers. The red inflorescences get lengths up to 5 cm. Flowering period: Spring - Summer. Bulbophyllum sikkimense (Cirrhopetalum sikkimense) orchids are protected by CITES Appendix II (trade controlled to avoid use incompatible with species survival). The tropical orchid requires cool – warm temperatures, a partial shady location and good air movement to avoid fungal infections. Plants should be kept humid, but not wet.

The miniature sized orchid belongs to the Bulbophyllum Section Cirrhopetalum (Lindl.) Rchb. f. 1861, where orchids, formerly included in the Cirrhopetalum genus, which is no longer supported, have been moved to. Prominent members of the Bulbophyllum Section Cirrhopetalum, which includes about 243 species, to name but a few, are Bulbophyllum lepidum (also named Bulbophyllum flabellum-veneris), Bulbophyllum dentiferum, Bulbophyllum gracillimum,
Bulbophyllum auratum and Bulbophyllum makoyanum.
